How We Help

To reach our goal, Help Autism Center, has developed a multi-pronged approach to raise funds to achieve and sustain our business model.

  • Sponsors and attend charity events (comedy shows, concerts, movie nights, walks and more)
  • Partners with various organizations (Shandy Clinic, KCOS Digital Media, Elitch Gardens, Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC, Denver Colfax Marathon, and others) to raise funds
  • Take donations on various items, at different events

“Help Autism Center” raises funds: To help families with special needs pay for therapies and services. Our goal is to open the Help Autism Center Ranch. For children and adults with autism and other special needs. Co-founder, Gregg Whelen, has owned and operated Hawkeye Care Home. An assisted living facility for mentally challenged adults, in Denver for more than a decade. His skill and experience caring for adults with special needs will govern the superior level of care the Help Autism Center Ranch will provide.

We’d love to see you at our family friendly events. Click here to find an event you would like to attend.

  1. Hello, my 19 yr old non-verbal son will age out of the system and be released from Heartspring Residential School in Wichita 3/19/23. We live in Atlanta. He will need a place to live with 24/7 care as he is in one of their group homes with 6 other guys.
He presents with some behaviors and needs care in just about every area. He can operate his Ipads/communication devices. Would Hawkeye Care Home be appropriate? If can, can you suggest other options?
    Thank you.

  2. Good afternoon,

My name is Neli Llangari and I am a volunteer organizer for a local Colorado Apple Store. I’d like to organize a volunteer event with STOMP OUT THE SILENCE OF AUTISM & DISABILITIES, a virtual volunteer event will be best suitable given the current circumstances. We are open to support wherever your organization may need it.

If no virtual opportunity is available, I am more than happy to brainstorm some ideas.

The employees at Apple have the option to request that Apple match their time with US$25/hour to the charity where they volunteer with. Otherwise there is nothing financial or product-oriented involved, but I think our skills and time can be a huge benefit if we work together with you to make sure of it. Let me start by saying our goal is to interact with you as partners, I know in some cases volunteerism can actually be stressful for organizations like yours — in fact, sometimes they just make more work for you in the end.

Hope to hear from you soon.

    Thank you.

    Neli Llangari
